Key Responsibilities of Sales Specialist
- Account Planning:
- Assist in creating sales strategies and align them with the overall company goals.
- Support sales representatives with internal processes to streamline their selling activities.
- Develop detailed business plans for your area that focus on achieving revenue goals and accurately forecasting sales progress.
- Regularly review and update account plans to ensure they meet the company’s objectives.
- Sales Coverage:
- Create targeted business plans and strategies to effectively allocate resources and drive sales activities.
- Collaborate with teams within HP and in the field to prioritize and optimize the use of resources for achieving sales margins.
- Pipeline Management:
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities for both short-term and long-term growth.
- Regularly analyze the pipeline’s size, quality, and performance, focusing on improving win rates and understanding win/loss outcomes.
- Deal Management:
- Evaluate deals critically to ensure they are sound and can be processed smoothly by HP’s operations team.
- Business Acumen:
- Demonstrate strong business, financial, and legal knowledge to make informed business recommendations.
- Continuously monitor and improve the operational efficiency of your area of responsibility.
Requirements & Qualification for Sales Specialist
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Sales Experience:
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Over 5 years of experience in Wide Format Sales.
- Experience in managing Channel Partners is preferred but not mandatory also check other managing job here .
- Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of LED products, customers, and channel partners.
- Keep up-to-date with IT trends, including new applications, typical CIO budgets, and key objectives.
- Sales Strategy:
- Develop long-term sales pipelines to help increase HP’s market share in specialized areas.
- Use your expertise to find new opportunities, enhance existing ones, and build a strong pipeline.
- Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, turning them into long-term references.
- Sell complex products or solutions by partnering closely with customers, possibly focusing on a few strategic accounts.
- Support and Leadership:
- Support Account Managers by setting directions for business development and replicating successful solutions.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to drive sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
- Market Awareness:
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the market and competitors to stay credible with Customer Executives.
