Summary

The main role of the support nurse is to handle phone calls from patients, medical facilities, and doctors about ambulatory pumps and related products. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and critical thinking skills, stay calm under pressure, work independently, have a range of clinical experience, and be great at keeping detailed records. This is a part-time position, working every other weekend. The candidate must have a quiet workspace, reliable internet, and good cell phone service.

In This Role, The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Strong listening skills and the ability to calmly address patient and facility inquiries or complaints
• Experience with ambulatory infusion pumps and Negative Pressure Wound Vac
• Expertise in home health care, specialty pharmacy administration, home infusion, oncology, pain management, and/or hospice care
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make accurate, well-informed decisions

Requirement

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in your state of residence (required)
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED (required)
• At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, including IV specialty training, infusion therapy, or home health care (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred, but not required)
• PICC certification and OCN/INCC certification (preferred, but not required)
